Having Trade Assurance coverage means that your supplier will fulfill their end of the contract, or Alibaba.com will refund you for the covered amount.

Examples of what’s covered

• You purchased 1,000 coffee mugs and only received 990
• You purchased 100 self-balancing scooters but 30 pieces do not work properly
• Your supplier agreed to offer CE certificate for your order, but failed to provide it

• You purchased 1,000 pieces coffee mugs, and the order matches the details of your contract, but you decide you don’t want them anymore
• You order T-shirts and received a different fabric than you expected, but the contract doesn’t clearly state which material the T-shirts should be

Your order will be shipped by your supplier on time, according to the details of your contract. In case of shipping delay, you will be eligible for a refund.

Examples of what’s covered

• The supplier fails to ship the goods on time (according to the contract details)
• The supplier ships the goods, but the delivery is later than the time specified in the contract
• The supplier ships the goods, but the goods are seized by customs due to supplier error
